Eligibility Criteria to Study LLM Program in UK

To get admission to LLM program offered by leading universities, there are certain eligibility criteria you need to follow.

The criteria are mentioned below:

  • Students who have finished a 3+2 year LLB degree or a 4-year integrated LLB programme are eligible to apply.
  • They must hold a Bachelor's degree with a grade point average of at least 65.
  • Overall IELTS score of 7.0, with 6.5 in each component. It tends to differ based on the university.
  • You must have a Bachelor's degree in LLB, BA + LLB, or a related field.
  • You must score well on English language tests such as CAE, CPE, TOEFL, and PTE.
  • Although not all universities, some will require you to take the LSAT exam.
  • Letters of recommendation (LORs), Statements of Purpose (SOP), academic transcripts, CV, and other documents.

The eligibility requirements differ depending on the university to which you apply. In the United Kingdom, there are two types of universities. Both have separate eligibility requirements.

Admission Process to Study LLM in UK

First and foremost, a Passport is required for GRE and TOEFL exams. As a result, you should apply for a passport before taking the test.

Step 1: Register for the examination

Schedule your test once you have received your passport. Now, before you book the test, you should be aware of the dates for the term for which you intend to apply. You must have SOP, LOR, and RESUME prepared 10 months in advance.

Step 2: Application

Step 3: Monitor the application's status.

Step 4: I-20 Form
