Applications for Undergraduate Studies

Applications for the July/Semester 2/midyear intake of the following year open in August. Early June of the following year often marks the deadline for midyear intake applications. Not all courses are available for enrolment at this time. Applications may still be accepted after the deadline has passed, however, there will be a late charge which would be disadvantageous for you. So, ensure to apply earliest.

Applications for postgraduate studies

Postgraduate SATAC applications for the following year commencing in August. However, offers and start dates vary, so check individual courses for additional details. Applicants to the Master of Psychology (Clinical), Doctor of Medicine, or Doctor of Public Health programmes should consult with the authorities as they have to apply earlier.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have received 60% or higher on their class XII test to be admitted to diploma-level courses.

  • Students must have received at least 65% and above in their class XII grades in order to be admitted to bachelor's programmes.

Students applying for master's admission at Australian universities must possess the following qualifications:

  • For admittance into the majority of postgraduate programmes at almost all Australian Universities, the 3-year graduation system is accepted.
  • However, some programmes and colleges may need a degree that is equal to the Australian Bachelor (Honours) Degree, which calls for 16 years of formal education, or an honours graduate degree like a B.A. (H), B.Com (H), etc.

Waiver of Examination Requirements

You are not required to submit test results if:

  • You have a 560 or better on the SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing.
  • You have a 22 or higher on the ACT English test.
  • Your IB Higher-Level English Prediction A score of 5 or above is obtained.
  • You got a "B" or above on your English O-Level test (GCSE, IGCSE, SPM, etc.).
  • You received a grade of "B" or higher in a college-level English composition course. 

Flinders University Admissions 2022 - 2023

Flinders University provides a variety of graduate certificates, diplomas, master's degrees, and doctoral degrees. Languages, Business, Law, Accounting, Sciences, Arts, Education, Engineering, and other subjects are covered.

Students can apply on the website for their desired course. The application fee is 60 AUD online and 100 AUD for offline. The admission prerequisites are

  • A three-year Australian bachelor's degree, or its equivalent is required.
  • Some programmes require work experience.
  • An employer statement or reference will be required.
  • Applicants for higher degrees by research must have postgraduate qualifications at least at AQF level 8 or 9.
  • Evidence of English proficiency.
